Our Story

Every humbling beginning starts somewhere. Our story began in 2012 on Main Street in Elkton, Maryland, in my husband's business, Chunky's Snak Shop. At that time, the passion for catering to people's appetites and satisfaction began by putting a smile on as many faces as possible, not just making the pallet happy. That's what started an unending relationship between food and the customers.

I am from Jamaica and love everything about it. The food, culture, people, music, language, beautiful parishes, and beaches. Enjoying the food from my place of birth has helped me love the many different and rich flavors that Jamaican Cuisine brings. My dream has always been to create food that my family will enjoy. I want my food to leave a lasting good impression. 

I am a mother of four beautiful children, two boys and two girls, a wife, a full-time student, active in my church, working full-time, and running Come Taste & C. God has been good to us. My family is hands-on when it comes to making this business successful. Their labor of love does not go unnoticed, and the passion they put into everything they do is a blessing. We are here rejoicing in the fruits of our labor because of the faithfulness of God.
